America the not so great country anymore.

When I was growing up I always heard how great America my homeland was. I always believed this when I was younger. We had our greatest generation that not only lived during 2 world wars. But they also survived the great depression. We also have the baby boomers that have made our countrys econamy so strong during the 80's and 90's. But even though we have made great progress in technology. We have not kept pace with the rest of the world. We have failed our children. We have been self serving and greedy. We have lost touch with the world and our country.
Politicians seems to fight over who is more in touch with which group. Just today CNN pushed that the GOP is not in touch with wemon needs. Have we ever thought that the wemon are not in touch with what a woman should be. Have we lost the truth of what a family should be. Have we lost in this country what a father and mother should be. We have gays fighting for the right to marry. When this country is going down in every bracket that is tested. Why are we listening to these arguments that only cause contention.
I will tell you why. Greed, selfishness, arrogance, ignorance, etc.
If we want this country to become great again. We need have a mentality shift. We need to chnge on our wants and concentrate on our needs. This is something for the past year I have been trying to change. Some have supported me, others do not want to say I am making the right choices. But at the same time they admit they have seen my growth in good ways.
As a country we need to change. We need to vote those into government that will fight to make this country great. Give us chances to make our lives better and not say we all are the same. Some people just work harder and smarter. We need to stop voting for those or even giving power to those that are only willing to say things that they never intend to do. That only give us words to get us excited and leave us flat. We need to stop asking others to do things for us. We need to do things for ourselves.

Hate on the other side

All the rage now is for the Gay and Lesbien communities and the media to attack conservatives. They say that if you do not support gay marriage then you are a hater. This is not so and is only good for seperating this country more.
Sure there are people on both sides that have over reacted. More cmmonly known is the unwarrented attacks on homosexual individuals. This is an over reaction to someones lifestyle. This reaction should never be condoned from either side. It only hurts the human condition which is sorly beaten at this moment because of the many soscial issues that are being pushed.
 But as I stand I do not support gay marriage. I do not hate or despise gay people. I have and do know many and besides the one aspect of thier lives I have found them to be on the most part wonderful people. I love the person and hate the sin.
Many now do not understand how I could be so cruel to gays because I do not support thier cause for gay marriage. Well to get this straight I do not support gay relationships, gay sex, or gay anger rants. I do not appreciate being called a biggot, hater, or fox news following redneck. You are not smarter thn me. You are not more enlightened because of your views. I have a right to my views just like you do and I have every right to follow them the way I know to be right.
I do not want to hear your rants on how this is how people are born. Yes sure a small percentage of people are born with homosexual tendencies. but a majority of people comming out now are only using it as a way to get attention. This once again does not help acceptance on either side. This only cause frustration and anger. The many people that come out as gay then just show anger. Rosie odonnel is one of these angry gays. That was a wonderful and sweet person before that was a fun celebrity to watch. Now she is a bitter old maid that has lost half her folliwing if not more but has gained a following of either other angry gays or a liberal group that is wanting to tear down conservatives like myself.
The Gay agenda is a black eye on this country. It is not because of people being gay. But because of the anger and hatred that has come from both sides. Both just as brutal. With many anti gay groups willing to hit someone. While the liberals and gays have used this as a way to attack conservatives just like a teenage girl will fight. With just enough truth to make the lie seem real.

Gun Control?

One of the hot button topics right now is gun control. I should disclose that I am currently a range designer for a large range design and targetry company. I do not personally own a gun but I do not have a problem with a responsible adult owning one.

The bog argument right now on the capital is that we get rid of assault weapons. This is a knee jerk reaction to some more recent and sad shootings around the country. Now of course all the gun toting nut balls are going to come out and defend their right to have guns in their home. In this case I believe that they are right. Although they are not always the most eloquent in how they make their arguments.

Of course you also have all the other nut balls on the other side of the gun control fence come out during these arguments also. Usually they are the liberals that have to stay hidden in the shadows because of their unpopular extreme views. But in either case we see both of the bad people on both sides of the isle come out during these big gun control debates.

Here is my argument. We go and blame guns for these violent crimes that are committed. We do not blame society ever, we only shortly lay focus on the person that actually committed the crime. and we jump right to the gun being the culprit. This is a flaw in our thinking as a society. We jump right to the final second of the whole crime. Usually our view is much much wider. But when a gun is involved we blame the tool not the person. If in many of these cases people had been shot with a crossbow or even blown up with a bomb we would be looking for the group that made the bomb or blame the person that shot the crossbow. But not so in the case of the gun. We get so intensely focused on guns that we push everything else aside.  

But that brings up another point. If we did not have access to guns, criminals would find other ways, many times even more horrific ways to kill someone. I will not name any more types of tools used for murder but I am sure many of you can think of one or more right off the top of your head. All of them easily accessible for your standard psychopath or angry child. If you take away guns something else will be found.

Now I do not have every answer. we cannot stop every criminal from doing something that hurts us. just as in day to day life you cannot make others decisions for them even though we so want to. But do we really want to take on someone else s problems? I know all my problems and I do not need to take on more or even would be able to handle more. But what we can do is be better people ourselves. we can be better examples to all of those around us and learn the good of everything. not just your side or point of view. but everything. Then we can share with others our knowledge and they have the choice to take it or not into their lives.

How many times have we got mad at someone for something simple. someone cuts you off in traffic. we get upset or mad at family members all the time. life is not easy nor is it on rails. we have to make choices and we flow all over the place while we are doing it. "Paying it forward" is our best option. doing something for others. If you hate guns but have never shot a gun before. Go to a shooting range and try it. (yes you might just be supporting me in my job.) but you will also learn something about guns and gun enthusiasts. that you might not have know before.

As for "Gun Control" it begins in the home. It is taught by parents to their children. Respect a gun. Lock up the gun. Use the gun for protection of others. A good gun owner is someone that not only likes to shoot a gun but also knows how to take care of that gun as it is a very powerful tool of both good and bad.

Gun control is not for the federal government. If you can't pass a budget of any sort and you still think you deserve a raise. You should not be in control of many things. Gun control is one of them. Our federal government along with many others have lost sight of how we can be great and decided to look at little pointless things that do little to nothing for us as a country in the long run.

Gun control and limitations do not help this country. guns are the end of the line to a long string of events. We need to go deeper into our issues as a country. We need to find why this country cannot get along and why everyone is getting so angry. Intolerance, anger, greed, ignorance, etc. are problems we need to be facing. when we fix those guns will stop being the problem.

Conspiracy.

My latest conspiracy theory. I sure hope I am wrong. I am sure many will think I am wrong. But this came to me while listening to CNN.

If you look at everything Obama has done it is to weaken America. He has set up deals to take over the internet. He has set up deals to drastically cut military spending. This he has put on congress to pass a budget. But to make sure congress does not pass that budget he puts little sticks in the road to trip them up. This might not sound like much but we already know democrats and republicans do not agree with eachother and so it is hard enough to get them to work well with eachother. Now how hard would it be to put something small in the way to make them not work at all with eachother. Obama just has to say once that republicans will not work with him. This is the start of gridlock. Then he sends in a budget that nobody likes. He got 0 votes both side. Thus way he can say he is trying, but still cause more gridlock. But what does this get Obama? Power. He controls the internet and he controls the military even more. This is just the start. But what you will see if this happens and we vote Obama in for 4 more years is a complete takeover of the federal government and the fall of state governments. He will continue to do it slowly until we have nowhere to go.
He already has the power to arrest you for no other reason than he does not like your face. Although it would not currently be taken well if he used it. But that is quickly changing. How would the media react if he arrested a well known conservative? Answer that in your mind and this is not so far fetched.

Obama economics.

The Obama economics are like this. Find a poorly placed hole that others started digging. Tell them how bad of a hole they dug that should not have been dug in the first place. Then continue digging a deeper hole faster then those before you. All the while saying how the ones before you messed up by digging the hole in the first place. This is how Obama works. He passes blame. Takes credit for others successes. Makes false claims that you are better off then you were 4 year ago. If you believe anything that Obama says you are simple minded and self absorbed. I am tired of his lies. His stories loosely based on truth. He has not helped you. He will not help you.
You have a choice.
Do we want Obama or do we want someone that knows what they are doing and will do it well.

4 years later.

About 4 years ago I made a post called pick your poison. It was based on the 2 candidate for president. Obama and McCain. I did not feel either was a great choice. One was a babbling idiot on stage and the other was an idiot off. Well one of those idiots won. Not the one I voted for but I voted for the one I felt and still feel was the lesser of two evils.
  But now we are 4 years later. Many people have learned thier lesson. You don't vote someone into office just because he plays the camera well. Obama has done exactly what I thought he would and more. I thought he would choose a horrible cabinet. Well half of them are gone because of scandal. I thought he would do little to nothing for the.economy. well 4 years later and in many cases we are worse off. Very few cases, and those are debatable, we are slightly better or back to where we were with Bush. Although that is not great I guess it could be worse. We were promised greatness and got delivered lackluster.
So this time around I believe that we do have a clear choice. Romney is the better man, better candidate and most important the better leader. He has experience in the private sector by helping start and run many companies. He was very successful at this. No matter what the brain dead might try to tell you. He was a Mormon bishop and so has had great responsibility placed on his shoulders to take care of the people of his ward. He saved the Olympics from scandal and failure and on top of that made them profitable. He then went to Massachusetts to be Governor. He cut the debt, balanced the budget and raised education standards and gave the students a better start in life. With all of this he has proven he can do the job as president. His true past is not a secret and his past jobs are understood, unlike our current president.
He has chosen also a vice president that not only is well respected in Washington, but hold the same moral high standards. Paul Ryan was my first choice months ago. The.choice is a solid one..
Now the media might try to sway you to the current incumbent..but this is a farce. They are on Obamas payroll. This is not directly course as thier arguments would loose merit with the people if it was otherwise. But you see the bias and lies. You see the failure to compromise. We deserve better from our media.
Now the clear choice is Mitt Romney. No ifs, ans or butts. He has the knowledge, skill and work ethic to fix our domestic and international issues. He work well with others. He listens to all ideas. He has lived a great life as a father and husband. He is all that we wish we could be.
So are we as a nation smart enough to vote him into office?

I do not need to share

I do not need to share all my thoughts and personal things about my life with everyone. This is something I think many have lost the concept of.  We obsessed over celebrities and reality tv stars. Who are they really? They are people with faults and opinions.
I like Robert Redford movies but that does not mean I have to agree or even want to hear his political views.
I do not care about the latest reality tv star and how crazy of a life they lead. All I see is they are screwed up in the head and that is because the rest of us encourage it by watching thier show.
I like to share my thoughts. I don't care if you like them or not. You don't have to read my blog or that particular post if your offended. 
I do appreciate anyone that does read my blog. Although righ now I think is just me. But that is ok, less stress on me to impress anyone but myself. Because to myself I am impressive.
