Been a while.

Over the past two years I have moved around a lot on jobs. This has been a constant stress on my life with my wages going all over the place. But finding work where I feel accomplished and happy at the end of the day and work week is not an easy thing to do in this economy.
But everything has its perks. I have found that even though being unemployed sucks in so many ways it does have its benefits. It allows you to explore life. It slows you to get yourself I. Shape without outside distractions. It allows you that extra long weekend or vacation that you have dreamed of for years. But the down side is after a while your money runs low and you find there is only so much you can do in a day.
Then there is taking a job you do not like or are not good at. I have done both. And while they might pay well. The toll they can wreck on you mentally and sometimes physically will only make it worse in the end. There were some jobs I just knew I would not like that has now been confirmed that I do not want that life or job. There are other jobs that because or others expecting so much out of you that it is only for a specific type of personality. Otherwise your just going to be lagging and in my case getting injuries because your not happy in the work.
There are other jobs that although not glamorous are a good fit for you. You do not need to be a lawyer or doctor or Hollywood actor to feel accomplished or feel validated. This is what we have to do as people to be happy. It is not the type of job or attention you get at the end of the day. It is that you are happy with what you have and are doing what you like and love. Coming home at the end of the day should be time to reflect on your life and how much you like it. Not that much needed rest because tomorrow is going to suck worse.
We are here on this planet to enjoy life. Part of that enjoyment comes from hard work. But the other half comes from being able to enjoy the fruits of your labors.
